-There was a lot to love in this episode. Crowley was amazing, and Mark Sheppard desperately needs to be a series regular on some TV show. How great was the way he called the boys “MORONS”?
-The Reapers and the raising of another Horseman were much appreciated
-Jo and Ellen’s deaths were fantastic, very emotional, and a perfect way to end their stories and I cried when Jo died in Ellen’s hands. I especially loved the part where Ellen said, “You go right back to hell, you ugly son of a bitch.”
-Mark Pellegrino is amazing, and I love how Lucifer does all of his dirty work by simply talking and he’s so casual! After Dean shoots him, his wound heals, and he just says, “Now, where were we?”
-Cas standing up for himself in the Ring of Fire was nice, and it was awesome how he used Meg as a bridge. I’m pretty sure Meg’s host was screaming right there.
-One of five creations the Colt can’t kill? What are the other four? My prediction is God, Michael, Sam and Dean, but I feel like I’m not completely right
-If I had to find a flaw, it’s that I wanted a bigger, twistier, more cliffhanger of an ending. This was so depressing. Death arrives, Ellen and Jo are dead, and the boys are no closer to killing Lucier than before. Basically, they fought a battle and lost. I know the title of the episode is “Abandon All Hope,” but I really think I have. There’s no way Sam and Dean can stop Lucifer.
